Overview
This internship offers an exciting opportunity to learn how outdoor education programs are planned, delivered, and supervised. You’ll support instructors in running youth leadership camps, adventure learning activities, and basic survival skill sessions. It’s a hands-on role for students who enjoy being outdoors and want real experience facilitating experiential learning activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist instructors during outdoor activities and ensure participants follow safety procedures
- Support the delivery of survival skill sessions such as navigation, outdoor cooking, or camp setup
- Help prepare training materials, equipment, and activity stations
- Observe and assist in facilitating youth development and team-building activities
- Monitor participant well-being and report safety concerns promptly
- Participate in debriefing sessions and provide insights to improve program flow
- Help maintain training equipment and ensure readiness for each course
Requirements
- Diploma/undergraduate student from any field (outdoor or sports-related fields are a bonus)
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying environments
- Enjoy interacting with youths and guiding small groups
- Responsible, energetic, and willing to learn hands-on skills
- Leadership, NCC/NCDCC/Scouts background, or prior camp experience is a plus
- No prior instructor experience required — training will be provided
